See: this boutique hotel in Aruba is also a tree shelter | To travel

Boardwalk honors Aruba’s flora and fauna leading up to Earth Day on April 22 with a beautiful video. Viewers are treated to images of up to thirty different palm tree species and tropical fruit trees, including mango, banana and coconut. It is as if you are looking at the hotel garden through the eyes of the Troepiaal, who is regularly spotted in the tree shelter.

Some 2,300 new trees and plants have been added to the hotel garden, a former coconut plantation. Local garden centers have also put a number of trees up for adoption.

Boardwalk was recognized with Gold Certification status in March 2021 by TravelLife, an internationally recognized sustainability certification program.
