Use Signal on the desktop
The interface of Signal on the desktop is very similar to that on the smartphone and the operating elements and principles are identical. You can see your chats on the left edge of the screen – unread messages are displayed in a blue circle with white numbers above a contact icon – and you can use the pencil symbol at the top left to select a contact to write to. Groups can also be created quickly with it.
The Signal desktop is still completely bare after installation, because all previous chats are not taken over.
As usual, you can find all settings at the top left by clicking on your icon. At the top right at the edge of the screen there are the icons for starting video chats or phone calls, etc. And most of the screen is taken up by the respective chat history. At the very bottom is the input window for a new message.
