Skoda Kamiq Facelift (2022): Fresh look for the Kamiq

In 2019, Skoda brought a new crossover to dealerships with the Kamiq, which is located below the Karoq. As with the recently released Karoq facelift, the changes in the Kamiq should also be limited. Technically that stays Compact-SUV with the modular transverse matrix, which it shares with the VW T-Cross and Seat Arona.

Cosmetically, the Kamiq change little with the facelift, at least only the front and rear are masked on spy images on the web. A new, slightly more angular grille and a new light graphic for the headlights would be possible. The front apron could get new air intakes below. There should also be new wheel designs and paint colors to choose from.

New infotainment with over-the-air updates

There will also be a new apron at the rear, and a modified roof edge spoiler is also conceivable. In the interior, on the other hand, the interventions should be rather subtle – the biggest changes should be in the equipment variants. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay could come as standard, and over-the-air updates are also possible.

There will probably be no changes to the range of engines, the familiar petrol and diesel variants will remain. They go from the 1.0-liter three-cylinder with 95 and 110 hpas well as the 1.5-liter TSI with 150 hp should remain untouched. A CNG version of the Kamiq could also remain in the range. There should be a small premium for the prices, the Kamiq currently starts at 23,230 euros.
