Hardly any class is currently in greater demand than that of small electric vehicles. In view of the currently high fuel prices, economy and mobility without fossil fuels are a welcome alternative. Renault can also have a say here, even if many only know the series with a combustion engine on board. But Renault has followed suit: the Twingo is also available as an electric car with the nickname “E-Tech”!
Those who opt for the electric Twingo always get a 60 kW electric motor with 160 Newton meters of torque; the power is sent to the rear wheels. The battery pack with a capacity of 22 kWh enables a range of 190 kilometers (WLTP), in the city even up to 270 kilometers are possible. With a length of just 3.61 meters, finding a parking space should no longer be a problem. According to the price list, Renault demands at least 24,350 euros for the Twingo E-Tech.
Twingo E-Tech with discounts of up to 11,660 euros
The environmental bonus makes up a large part of the reduction. As usual with carwow.de, the higher equipment variants also receive a larger discount for the Twingo – and so the Twingo E-Tech in the top equipment “Urban Night” offers the largest discounts.
At the Urban Night at the latest, it also becomes clear that electric mobility does not have to have anything to do with doing without, because the all-electric small car rolls off the assembly line with amenities such as a leather steering wheel, heated seats for driver and front passenger, reversing camera and navigation system. According to the list, at least 26,950 euros are called for for the top model of the smallest electric Renault.
Top model Twingo Urban Night achieves the largest discount
The current discounts and the environment bonus help to push the purchase price down sharply. At carwow.de, for example, prices for the Twingo Urban Night start at EUR 16,080, which is EUR 10,870 below the RRP (the purchase premium for electric vehicles has already been taken into account here).
If you choose a few more extras during the configuration, the discount can increase to up to 11,660 euros. carwow.de currently states that the delivery time is only four to five months (note, the transfer costs reduce the discount by a few hundred euros).
