Specialist in thermal cars, Startech enters the electric segment with its first preparation program dedicated to the Tesla Model 3.
With the development of the electric car, traditional preparers are starting their energy transition. Prior Design, Techart, Brabus or Unplugged Performance have already expressed themselves in their own way on the Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S or even Smart EQ Fortwo. Now it’s Startech’s turn to come out of the shadows by practicing the Tesla Model 3.
For its test run, the Bottrop firm was not shy about the pencil stroke of the body kit intended for the California sedan. The Model 3 presents itself here with a heavily (and unnecessarily) openwork front fascia, an overhauled stern and, especially noticeable, a wrap-around trunk spoiler.
3 144 € for the only body kit
The Tesla Model 3 is lowered by 30mm to match the in-house 20-inch Monostar M rims, fitted with 245/35 R20 tires at the front and 285/30 R20 at the rear. The new stylistic endowment continues in the passenger compartment with a large customization catalog, offering among other options an aluminum crankset or Alcantara trim.
The technical and mechanical aspects were not raised by Startech, which only offers a simple cosmetic preparation. It will take, in Germany, on a price of 3,144 € for the complete body kit. Short rims and springs are priced at € 700 and € 346 respectively.
