220 PS station wagon at a bargain price!
This chic special model offers power, space and top equipment for little money. Now a used Renault Mégane Grandtour 220 GT is for sale!
The price also stands out when you look at the year of construction and mileage. Approved for the first time in October 2014, the power station wagon only completed 69,999 kilometers, which is not a great deal either. The GT easily cost over 30,000 euros. Barely five years later, it lost almost a third of its former value.
Few open questions
The station wagon looks optically really sporty: especially thanks to the 18-inch alloy wheels in black.
The metallic blue Mégane also gives little cause for criticism visually. The body looks sleek and sporty, and thanks to the black 18-inch rims, the Grandtour is not a wallflower. Neither damage nor defects can be seen on the pictures in the advertisement, the car shines like on the first day. The interior is also well-kept and clean, except for a few signs of wear in the foot area. Nevertheless, some questions regarding the condition of the vehicle remain open. Neither the number of previous vehicle owners is indicated in the advertisement, nor the absolutely relevant term “accident-free”. After all, we know that the Renault is not maintained in the checkbook. On the other hand, the deal is positive: The dealer states that it renews the TÜV when buying. In addition, as with all other cars in the AUTO BILD used car market, this Mégane is one Guarantee included in the price.
Sporty interior and Bose sound
In the interior, sport seats and red trim strips create a brisk atmosphere.
When it comes to sportiness, the interior ties in with the body and engine, red trim strips and partially sporty sports seats create a brisk atmosphere in the fast station wagon. At the same time, there is plenty of space for the child and bowling pin: with one Boot space of up to 1595 liters the Renault need not hide from the competition. Since the offered special model is a limited “Bose Edition” the occupants experience real premium sound, including AUX connection and hands-free system. The equipment is impressive in this price range: reversing camera, navigation system, brake assistant, cruise control and automatic start-stop support the driver and contribute to the moderate fuel consumption of the around 1.5-ton Grand Tour. On average, the station wagon pumps 7.3 liters per 100 kilometers through the engine. More Renault Mégane are on offer here!
