Steven Spielberg sells Dutch mega yacht for 136 million euros

It is unknown whether the new owner has also paid for it. None of the yacht brokers involved would like to comment, reports Bloomberg news agency.

The site of one of the companies only says that the yacht has been soldbut not for what amount.

The new owner is an investment company of Canadian billionaire Barry Zekelman, the news agency reports.

The new name of the ship, Man of Steel, is also a strong indication for this because Zekelman amassed his wealth of about 2.3 billion dollars in the steel industry.

Oceanco from Alblasserdam

Spielberg, itself good for a net worth of $3.7 billion, was the first owner of the ship that was built in 2010 by yacht builder Oceanco in Alblasserdam.

With nine bedrooms on board, there is room for 20 guests and a further 28 crew members.

The yacht, nearly 300 feet (86 meters) long, has its own jacuzzi, pool and gym.

Guests who have gone too far there won’t have to climb stairs to get from one deck to the next, as there is an elevator on board.

Of course there is also a cinema on board, where the new owner can watch the collection of films from the previous one.

If you want to go for some action yourself, you can do so with the jet ski or seabob, a device with which you can sail under water.

The yacht has its own sloop on board in order to come ashore when there is no more room in the harbor to moor.

And for those who want to go to the ship completely incognito, there is also a landing place for a helicopter.
