In the past 21 years, AUTO BILD has achieved a lot with the suggestion box: We have not only helped countless readers who had problems with a car manufacturer or their dealership. The suggestion box has also found serial defects such as the frost engines and the breaking window regulators at VW or the rusting four-eyes E-Class. These successes and other scandals uncovered by us have led to hundreds of readers getting money back, goodwill or even a better car.
The Sorrow Box database – many of you have painfully noticed it – is a source of grief. We are therefore changing the procedure. That does not mean that we no longer take care of your worries and needs, ignore your complaints about defective cars, lousy workshops or indecent manufacturers.
