Media Markt and Saturn have reduced the price for the LG 4K OLED TV (OLED65CX6LA) with 65 inches (165 cm) to a super affordable 1,599 euros! But why is this OLED television so cheap?
At 1,599 euros, the price of the LG 4K OLED TV from the 2020 lineup has really dropped a lot. The starting price at the time was 3,099 euros, although this was undercut by several retailers shortly after the market launch. As far as the equipment is concerned, there is simply nothing to complain about. A high-performance 4K OLED display in 65 inches, four HDMI 2.1 connections including VRR, ALLM and eARC (perfect for PC and game consoles), established standards such as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, webOS 4.5 etc. make the model the ideal film and gaming device -TV. The current price advantage of 200 euros compared to the OLED65CX9LA (9 instead of 6 in the model name) can also be easily explained:
Missing twin-triple tuner
This is namely the Swiss model, which is only equipped with a triple tuner (OLED65CX9LA has a twin-triple tuner). So if you really want to use the recording function of the television (only works with two tuners), the offer is unfortunately not for you. However, this function can be neglected. Most of the content of the public law can be accessed at any time via the media libraries. Anyone who only uses normal linear television without recording the current program will also have no problems with the device. Anyone who completely renounces television and only relies on streaming services, gaming or Internet TV (Zattoo) should check again whether the domestic piggy bank still gives a “couple of ham”.
