Super Mario 3D All-Stars: The overview trailer for the 3D adventure collection

On Friday the time has come and the recently announced Super Mario 3D All-Stars is coming to Nintendo Switch. The collection includes three 3D trips by the cult plumber: Super mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. Now Nintendo has published an overview trailer for the All-Star package.

Super Mario in full 3D

Nintendo describes the three titles as follows:

Super Mario 64 – The leap into a new dimension

Super Mario 64 was not only Mario’s first three-dimensional adventure, but also laid the foundation for all subsequent 3D titles thanks to its timeless controls. Immerse yourself in the paintings of the Mushroom Palace and find all the power stars by jumping on the wall, somersault and even in flight!

Super Mario Sunshine – summer, sun, adventure

Even a hero needs a vacation! Mario just wanted to spend a well-deserved summer vacation on the idyllic Isla Delfino. Instead, he finds himself in the middle of a sinister plot! Fortunately, his new companion Dreckweg 08/17 accompanies him. With its water pump, Mario can travel through the worlds in completely new ways.

Super Mario Galaxy – A Journey to the Stars

Mario embarks on an intergalactic adventure in which he not only has to help Rosalina and rescue Princess Peach, but also to thwart Bowser’s plans. Overcome gravity and jump from planet to planet. You can use the optional motion control or play with a friend, each with a Joy-Con controller!

Optimized for Nintendo Switch

According to Nintendo, all three games have been optimized for Nintendo Switch. For example, they have Joy-Con controls – including HD vibration. In Super Mario Galaxy, players should be able to use the Joy-Con controllers to imitate the original controls of the Wii remote control. All titles also come in HD graphics and with improved resolution. There are also three soundtracks with over 170 pieces of music in the collection.

With the announcement of the 3D All-Stars-Collection, Nintendo not only caused positive reactions. In particular, the questionable circumstance, according to which the physical version will only be “produced for a limited time” and the digital version will be “offered for a limited time until the end of March”, caused some heated emotions among the fans.
