The reason, in addition to the very limited offer, is the loyal fan base. They pay good money, especially for good cars with low mileage. A Jimny is often bought by dog ​​owners and hunters. In addition to the elevated seating position, the clarity and the turning circle of 10.5 meters are well received by city dwellers.
The interior is angular. In addition to plenty of honest plastic, it even offers a multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment and heated seats. More important than comfort equipment is likely to be the vast majority Jimny-Friends, however, will be the decidedly robust look, which charmingly contrasts with the wind tunnel-smoothed compact SUV monotony. In fact, the Jimny about tangible qualities: Under its cover it offers powerful drive technology that qualifies the flea for much more than visiting an ice cream parlour.
Workhorses driven off-road can have above-average wear and tear
All-wheel drive and gear reduction, together with a strongly twisting rigid axle chassis, 20.5 centimeters of ground clearance and ample angles of departure (37 degrees at the front, 49 degrees at the rear), guarantee remarkable off-road capability. The latter is both a curse and a blessing for prospective buyers.

Toys and workhorses battered off-road can suffer from underbody damage and, measured on mileage, above-average wear and tear on the basically very durable technology. While larger dogs also feel comfortable in the trunk with the two-seater rear seat bench folded down, the Jimny no car for horse stealing: below average trailer loads of 300/1300 kg (unused/used, up to 12%).
