Programming workshop for all interested children without a class group
The coding taster course “Workshop on Coding and App Prototyping” for all interested students in grades 7 to 11 is part of the “Telekom App Design Days”. Telekom describes the course content as follows: “Topics such as programming and app design. The learners go through the most important steps from the idea to the basics to programming their app. Puzzles are first solved together to learn the basics of Swift. You use real code, for example to control a character through a 3D world. The next step is to learn the building blocks of apps with interactive explanations from Apple, then move on to more advanced concepts.”
Participation is free. The workshop lasts 120 minutes and will take place on June 7, 2022 in the Munich flagship store at Marienplatz 22. There will be two workshops: one from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and one from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Swift Playgrounds is used as the development environment, so students practice developing iPhone, iPad and Mac apps and use Swift Playgrounds for their first exposure to app programming. Programming knowledge is not required.
Here you will find all information about the Telekom App Design Days and you can register. Children can register individually or in groups
