The date for Microsoft Build 2022 has been set






The Microsoft Build developer conference will take place this year from May 24th to 26th as a purely online event.

Microsoft announced specific details about Microsoft Build 2022 this week. As in the two previous years, the developer conference will again take place as a purely online event this year. From May 24th to 26th, 2022, engineers, students, startups, IT professionals and developers can exchange information and information about the latest Microsoft technologies as well as Office and Windows.

Online event since 2020

Originally, the Microsoft Build was a live event that was held annually in the US metropolis of Seattle. However, the global corona pandemic forced Microsoft to turn the developer conference into a purely online event in 2020. Nothing will change this year either. According to Microsoft, however, “market-specific content” is new for Germany, Japan, Latin America and France. The build starts on May 24th with the keynote. Multiple sessions will serve multiple time zones across the conference.

What announcements does Microsoft have in store for 2022?

At Build 2021, Microsoft announced, among other things, the opening of Microsoft Teams for apps, Windows 11 and AI-supported auto-completion for code with GPT-3. It remains to be seen what surprises the group has in store this year.
