Since the end of August we have been able to dedicate ourselves to the popular ball sport alongside the exceptional young soccer talent Tsubasa Ōzora. In Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions Of course, we meet numerous well-known and international characters and teams. Bandai Namco is now delivering supplies. A total of nine DLC characters are expected to find their way onto the virtual playing field of ‘Rise of New Champions’ by spring 2021.
The first character pack will be launched at the beginning of December and offer the following three players:
- Stefan Levin – the Swedish offensive midfielder
- Ricardo Espadas – the Mexican goalkeeper
- Singprasert Bunnaak – the Thai defender
The newcomers should not only be able to be integrated into their own Versus team. Rather, it should be possible to interact with them in the context of the plot, to make friends with them and to learn their techniques.
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions has been available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PCs since August 28, 2020. The title has already sold over 500,000 units. We got the title under the microscope in our test. Here you can find out, among other things, why ‘Rise of New Champions’ is also worth a look for anime fans who otherwise have less to do with football.
