NIS America released the remake today Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen in Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. In the NISA Europe Online Store you can choose between the Origins Edition and the Limited Edition for PS4. The game offers strategic battles and the possibility of chain attacks. If something does not go as planned, trains can be rewound. As is typical of the genre, magic, equipment, skills, status values and classes also play a major role.
Prelude to the Fallen is a remake of Utawarerumono: Chiriyuku Mono he no Komoriuta, the first part of the Utawarerumono trilogy, which also includes Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth.
Prelude to the Fallen tells the story of a man who wakes up without memories and is taken in by a tribe of warm settlers. Little by little he becomes one of them and gets the name “Hakuowlo”. When the neighboring villages attack the village, Hakuowlo opposes the attackers and begins an unforgettable adventure.
Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen is released in Europe today for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita with cross-save feature, a PC version is planned, but still without a date.
With the smartphone game Utawarerumono: Lost Flag, a free-to-play spin-off was released in Japan in November. In September we already saw an action brawler for U4warerumono: ZAN for PS4. And lastly, new steam releases from Utawarerumono appeared: Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth. Aquaplus is currently working on further branches of the series.
