While the Volvo XC40 Recharge is on the road to dealerships, the Swedish brand goes into detail with a new video presentation.
There are only a few months left to wait for the Volvo XC40 Recharge to arrive on our roads. This fully electric version based on the eponymous SUV is completely revealed in a new 14-minute video.
This is a period which would allow it to recover nearly 100 km of autonomy at the charging station, with its power of 150 kW in direct current. Over a longer exercise, the Volvo XC40 Recharge will be able to go from 10% to 80% battery in 40 minutes. Stopping with the 7.4 kW charger will take 10 hours on slow charge, but an option with a 22 kW system will cut the recharge in half.
The electric SUV gets completely naked
Through this first video, not surprisingly with subjective opinions, the Swedish brand allows however to get acquainted with the XC40 P8 Recharge, with a P for Pure and the 8 to evoke the capacity of the battery (announced at 78 kWh). Eight will also be the number of colors available with the electric SUV, which will offer many other cosmetic, comfort or safety options.
This first video fully unveils all the equipment of the Volvo XC40 Recharge and all the small intentions of the manufacturer to improve the daily life of motorists, including connectivity solutions. If the intonation of the speakers and the script seem to come straight from a teleshopping program, the initiative is rare enough to be highlighted.
In addition, the Volvo XC40 Recharge is available on the brand’s online configurator.
