After the fixed roof version, Ferrari is developing its hybrid offer and launching the SF90 Spider.
Now is the time for electrification and Ferrari is no exception. After a few timid forays into the segment, the prancing horse brand has started a new chapter in its history with the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. The Italian super-sportswoman is now falling high.
Like all convertibles, the Ferrari SF90 Spider announces an increase in weight. The overload is however controlled with 100 kg more, bringing the total mass to 1,670 kg. A more honorable performance given the presence of a retractable hardtop in 14 seconds.
The new luxury hair dryer retains its hybrid mechanics composed of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors, for a total of 1,000 hp and 900 Nm of torque. In detail, the thermal unit promises 780 hp and the three electric motors deliver the remaining 220 hp. On the performance side, the sports car hits 100 km from a standstill in 2.5 seconds and is aiming for 340 km / h at top speed.
A 100% electric range of 25 km
Four driving modes allow you to take full advantage of hybridization, as on the Honda NSX, whose inherent setting e-Drive for a handful of purists: thanks to the SK innovation 7.9 kWh battery, the convertible turns into electric traction and can travel 25 km in the greatest of silence.
The charging possibilities are still not known, but we can bet that the SF90 will be limited to a Type 2 port. The price of this version has not yet been communicated. But let’s just remember that the coupe, priced at € 443,513, is more affordable than the Spider version!
