Introducing The Suicide of Rachel Foster on Steam
Ten years ago, Nicole and her mother left their family hotel when they found out that Nicole’s father, Leonard, was having an affair with a teenage girl who soon became pregnant and then committed suicide.
After the death of both of her parents, Nicole hopes to fulfill her mother’s last wish and sell the hotel. She returns to the hotel to distribute the proceeds to Rachel’s family. Together with the family lawyer, she wants to have the dilapidated house valued.
When the weather turns unexpectedly and Nicole is stuck in the big house in the mountains, her only help is Irving, a young FEMA official she is connected to on one of the world’s first cell phones.
Together with him, Nicole begins to uncover a secret that is far more mysterious than the people in the valley thought. A story of love and death, in which melancholy and nostalgia merge into an exciting ghost story.
