As of July 1, 2020, the conditions at Sky Q * have changed. Since then, after the first term, every subscription has been converted into a flexible subscription that can be canceled on a monthly basis. There is also a price advantage for all customers who actively extend their subscription for a further twelve months. In addition, the entertainment package, Sky Q in HD and Sky Go are always included when you take out a subscription. You can expand this basic package with the following packages as you wish:

  • The entertainment plus package – Here you can see the latest and greatest series from Sky and also get a Netflix subscription.
  • The cinema package – for movie lovers. You can see the biggest blockbusters and the best classics from all genres there.
  • The Bundesliga package – Sky shows you 572 Bundesliga games and all games in the second division live.
  • The sports package – Here you will find the finest live sport as soon as there is more to see again. You can look forward to the UEFA Champions League, the DFB Cup, the Premier League, Formula 1, handball, tennis and golf.
  • The kids package – a large variety of series for children, including kids fashion, in which views are possible without advertising.

What is Sky Ticket and how does the streaming service work?

If you don’t feel like an annual subscription, you can also use the monthly cancelable Sky Ticket * alternative. You can use it to access the Pay TV content from Sky without being tied to a contract for a long time. For series, film and sports fans, everything your heart desires is there. 1. Sky Ticket in combination with the Sky Ticket TV Stick

If you don’t have a receiver, Smart TV or a console to install the Sky Ticket app, it’s worth taking a look at the Sky Ticket offers that include a Sky Ticket TV Stick *. With the TV stick you can use other streaming apps in addition to Sky Ticket – for example YouTube, ARD, ZDF and Prime Video *. If you book the TV stick with a ticket, you pay a one-time fee of 29.99 euros for the ticket and the stick. After your subscription has expired, you pay the normal ticket price.

With Sky Cinema you can see the latest blockbusters and the most successful films of the year without commercial breaks. You can also choose from over 1,000 of the most popular films in various genres on demand and can even see many of them in their original language.

6. Sky Sports Deals: These are the best deals for sports fans

At Sky you can choose between two sports packages: the sports package and the Bundesliga package. With the Sky Sport package you can see all UEFA Champions League games in the Original Sky Conference and most German individual games exclusively. You can also follow all DFB Cup games individually and live in the Original Sky Conference. In addition to football, Formula 1, handball, tennis and golf await you. With the Sky Bundesliga package, on the other hand, you can watch 266 Bundesliga games and all Bundesliga 2 games live and exclusively.

With Sky Ticket you have the choice between the Supersport Ticket and the Sport Ticket. The two tickets differ only slightly from each other. With the Supersport Ticket you can watch the games of the first and second Bundesliga and the Champions League both in the conference and as individual games. With the Sport Ticket you can only see the conferences. In addition, only the Supersport Ticket shows you Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3 and the Porsche Supercup.

7. Sky Kids offers: The additional package for children

Sky recently started offering an additional package for children! It includes over 4,500 on-demand items, linear television channels (Nick Jr., Nicktoons, Junior, Boomerang and Cartoon Network) and Kids Mode, which only allows access to Sky Kids content.

What do the offers look like?

You can currently test Sky Kids for six months free of charge – but the offer is only valid until February 3rd, 2021! * To get the free trial subscription, you have to book the Sky Entertainment, Sky Cinema, Sky Sport and Sky Bundesliga packages – that full program. The complete package costs you EUR 40.00 per month with an annual subscription, after which you pay EUR 50.00 with a monthly subscription.

If you are not interested in all Sky packages, you can also book the kids package in addition to the basic package. * In this case, it costs EUR 17.50 per month with an annual subscription and then EUR 20.00 with a monthly subscription.
