Microsoft may have accidentally leaked the name of the next major Windows 11 version.

After the release date for Windows 11 22H2, the first major feature update for Windows 11, was leaked a few days ago, the name now seems to be set. This is reported by the US IT news magazine Windowslatest.

So far we have always referred to the fall update as “22H2” or as “Sun Valley 2”. Microsoft has not yet revealed the official name. But in the Get Started app, also known as the Tips app, which you can access from the Start menu and which Windows introduces you to, users occasionally found a hint about the name of the upcoming feature update after starting the app. It read: “You’re now running the Windows 11 2022 Update!
