With the Galaxy A22 5G, Samsung presented a cheap Android smartphone in June 2021 for 229 euros RRP (64 GB memory). The 128 GB version cost 249 euros RRP at the time. Aldi is now selling this 5G smartphone with 64 GB of storage space at a much lower price and plus an Aldi Talk start credit.

Measuring 76.4 × 167.2 × 9.0 mm and weighing around 203 grams, the Galaxy A22 5G is powered by an octa-core processor that can access 4 GB of RAM. The Galaxy A22 5G has a 6.6-inch (16.72 cm) Infinity-V display with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz (2400 x 1080 pixels).
The main camera takes pictures with 48 megapixels. A 5 MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2 MP depth-of-field lens are available for this purpose. The front camera delivers an 8 megapixel image. Samsung specifies the battery capacity as 5,000 mAh. A fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button. The smartphone has the One UI Core 3.1 user interface above the Android 11 operating system. The security solution Knox 3.7 is also included.
The internal memory of 64 GB can be expanded by up to 1 TB using a memory card (not included in the price). You can connect your smartphone to your vehicle via Bluetooth 5.0, for example, and then use Android Auto. The smartphone also supports NFC. This dual-SIM smartphone (nano-SIM) has USB Type-C and a 3.5 mm jack as connections. The scope of delivery includes a charging adapter and cable. The battery is permanently installed.
Aldi offer with a starting credit of 10 euros
From April 7, 2022, Aldi Nord will sell the Galaxy A22 5G with 64 GB of storage space for 159 euros. Aldi Süd also has the Galaxy A22 5G on offer at this price. The price of 159 euros also includes an Aldi Talk starter set with a starting credit of 10 euros. In fact, you only pay 149 euros for this 5G smartphone.
