The health ministers of our country sat together this morning on the so-called list of essential functions, but separated without a decision. The discussion will continue next week.
The question is who should get priority for vaccinations. This includes police officers, the fire brigade and civil protection or teachers. Doctors, nurses and other hospital staff and staff of the residential care centers are already being vaccinated.
In a recommendation to the government, however, the unions and employers propose not to give priority to any profession. That would lead to endless discussions about who does and who does not belong, they say. For example, should only officers who come on the site be vaccinated earlier or also the administrative staff? Should only teachers be given priority or also other school staff? And so on.
