Developer Tyson Butler-Boschma from Toybox Games presents his own interpretation of the possibilities of Epic Games’ new engine with his Superman tech demo. Butler-Boschma allows his superhero in the tech demo sightseeing flights through the big city of Epic Games known from the “The Matrix Awakens” demo. Unfortunately, quests do not await curious players in the short demo.

Tech demo is available for download

The tech demo is available for download at this link. After downloading, the archive only needs to be unzipped. Double-clicking on the “CitySample.exe” file is enough to start the tech demo. The Superman demo gives players the choice of a small map for weaker systems, as well as the full map from The Matrix Awakens. In order for the Unreal Engine 5 to run smoothly and optimally, Epic Games requires a twelve-core processor with 3.4 GHz, 64 GB of RAM and a Geforce RTX 2080 or a Radeon RX 6700 with 8 GB of video memory.
