TVOH viewers have to get used to corona measure for Anouk

While The Voice of Holland Anouk will not physically sit in the famous red chair. The singer is separate from the other coaches in a so-called ‘quarantainer’. To avoid an empty seat, the makers have installed a large LCD screen, allowing Anouk to provide the candidates and the coaches with the necessary criticism.

The viewers had to get used to this construction. On Twitter, some viewers wondered why Anouk could be seen on a screen and whether she was going to coach live.

The reason for this measure is Anouk’s severe asthma. “If I also get corona, then I can write the singing on my stomach,” she explains in the first episode. That is why the singer is in a separate room where she has screens and speakers to hear the candidates. As long as she doesn’t press the red button, the screens are off. Like the other coaches, she does not see who is on the podium.

The eleventh season also marks the start of Jan Smit as a coach. Although Anouk is not physically there, she can still lash out at Jan. Below you can see everything about it.

The Voice of Holland can be seen every Friday evening at 20:00 on RTL 4 and can be seen again at Videoland.
