Uber launches its “Uber One” subscription in Germany. Subscribers save on every meal delivered and every trip arranged.

The company Uber is now also starting its subscription model in Germany. The monthly subscription “Uber One” will initially start in the capital Berlin, making it the first city outside the USA where users can take out the subscription.

“We’re thrilled that our loyal Uber community in Berlin is the first city outside of North America to experience the benefits of Uber One,”

says Christoph Weigler, DACH boss of Uber.

Ride and Uber Eats benefits

The paid membership brings a number of advantages. For example, cheaper Uber rides and the food delivery service “Uber Eats”. Subscribers save the delivery fee with every Uber Eats order, arranged Uber rides (except for Uber Taxi) are ten percent cheaper for members. Furthermore, subscribers receive a 5 percent discount with “participating partners”.

The first month is free for customers, after that the monthly price is 4.99 euros. The subscription service can be conveniently concluded via the Uber Eats or Uber app.

Initially, the service will only be active for users from Berlin, but the benefits will also be granted if users use Uber in other German cities. The company plans to expand the offer and offer further exclusive promotions and cooperations.

“Uber One offers our loyal users cross-platform added value that clearly sets us apart from the competition. With Uber One, we want to dovetail our mobility and delivery services even more closely, improve the user experience and thus get even more people in Germany excited about Uber,”
