Is there a catch? Not really!
With such a low price for these strong conditions, there must of course be a catch, which is basically not one: the tariff actually offers unlimited LTE data volume, but only at a speed of 2 Mbit/s. It doesn’t sound like much at first, but in practice you will hardly notice it in everyday surfing activities.

The speed is sufficient for almost everything you do with your mobile phone on the go. You can use apps like Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook and Co. Music streaming via Spotify and Deezer works without any problems. You can also use YouTube and stream series and films via Netflix, Amazon Video & Co. in normal resolution. However, there may be delays here.
Comparison to the original O2 tariff:
The conditions are largely identical, but the Mobilcom Debitel offer is significantly cheaper at EUR 10.99 compared to EUR 29.99 per month (monthly cancellable version). To be fair, however, we have to mention that with O2 you are not only on the 4G, but also on the 5G network (can only be used with a 5G cell phone in the 5G area).
