This week, Samsung released an unusual riddle that interested users could use to decipher the date for the next Unpacked event. The South Korean electronics group has now provided the solution itself and revealed the date for the event. On August 10, 2022, Samsung will therefore present new smartphones.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 with few innovations
Along with the date for the Unpacked Event, Samsung also released a teaser image today. The graphic shows a side view of a foldable smartphone, which acts as a “greater than” symbol. The assumption that at least one foldable will be unveiled as part of the event is very likely. According to the rumors, it should be the Galaxy Z Flip 4. With a closer look at the teaser graphic for the unpacked event, Samsung seems to have only slightly revised the smartphone. Many parallels to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 can be seen in the picture. The form factor, the power button on the side and the camera arrangement seem to be almost identical.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 and new smartwatches
In addition to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also expected. According to the rumors, Samsung could have revised the camera module on the back of this model. However, there is no confirmation of this yet. Samsung could also announce new smartwatches during the Unpacked event. US customers can already register for a pre-order offer on the new devices via the Samsung website. Unfortunately, this offer does not apply to Germany.
