Aiming for global manufacturer status, VinFast launched its electric SUV offensive with three new models.
The Vietnamese car maker plans to take over the world. To achieve this, the brand has announced the arrival of three new electric SUVs, which will cover most segments of the market.
The first, the Vinfast VF31, will tackle the C segment with its 4.30 meters long, including 2.61 meters of wheelbase. It is therefore placed directly in front of the Peugeot e-2008. Up to 408 hp and 550 km of autonomy for the Vinfast VF33
A notch above will be the VF32, which is 4.76 meters in length. The size of a Tesla Model Y or a Mercedes EQC, this SUV has more marked European ambitions. Especially with the interior technology endowment which should meet market standards on this side of the globe. Two power levels will be offered there too: a version of 204 hp for 320 Nm will be accompanied by a variation of 408 hp for 640 Nm of torque. The battery will be beefier with 90 kWh, but the range has not been disclosed.
The latter will arrive at the same time as the Vinfast VF33. Stretching 5.12 meters, it will offer only the most powerful mechanical iteration with two engines for a total of 408 hp. The Vietnamese manufacturer promises a 106 kWh battery for this seven-seater SUV, which can aim for 550 km of range.
The manufacturer did not disclose further information on its schedule. However, these SUVs could arrive in Europe in early 2022.
