The Americans love it and so are we: peanut butter bread! This is perhaps the easiest bread there is. And a handy side effect: there is no ounce of flour involved.
For 1 peanut butter bread
- 480 grams of creamy peanut butter
- 6 large eggs
- 3 teaspoons of vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
A slice of peanut butter bread is delicious with (you guessed it) your favorite peanut butter, but also with slices of banana, chocolate spread, jam, salted caramel,…
And oh yes: “not being a hero in the kitchen” is really no excuse with this recipe. Who can aim a few ingredients in a bowl and stir them together can put peanut butter bread on the table in this case.
This is how you make the peanut butter bread
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Grease a cake tin with butter.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl with a whisk. As soon as this is a homogeneous mixture, you can stop: do not whisk an unnecessary amount of air into it.
Divide the mixture over the cake tin and cover with a layer of aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and pierce the center with a skewer. If no dough sticks to that, the peanut butter bread is ready.
Allow to cool completely before serving.
