Whatsapp displays individually sent emojis larger. But with this trick you can reduce them to the normal size.

One of the peculiarities of Whatsapp is the fact that emojis are displayed larger than normal when they are sent individually. In certain situations, however, this can seem a bit strange or excessive. So that this doesn’t happen to you, we show you a trick that you can use to get individual emojis to normal size.
Shrink emojis in Whatsapp chat
Perhaps you already know that the characters * (asterisk), _ (underscore) and ~ (tilde) can be used to format text differently in Whatsapp. With these characters you can also use the
Adjust the size of individual emojis.
To do this, put the emoji in brackets with the respective character and send it – for example *[Emoji]*.
The star and underscore achieve the same effect, while the emoji for the tilde symbol is moved slightly to the right (see screenshot). However, the size is equally reduced in all three. Try it out. A note on this: Stickers and GIFs cannot be displayed smaller.
