The Thunderball continues a tradition, but also opens up new worlds with its electric drive. It is not yet clear when the first electric Wiesmann will leave the factory and how much will have to be paid for it. What is certain, however, is that the Thunderball lives up to the image of a sports car will definitely do justice.
Retro look almost characteristic
As new as the concept of the car is, the look is familiar. Because despite the rare appearance of a Wiesmann, the retro look is almost characteristic of the German brand. The Thunderball also grabs it design of his predecessors. The superimposed, double round headlights and the oval radiator grille are, for example, the MF5 roadster very similar.

The look of the body remains retro, but Wiesmann relies on modern technology in the interior.
In the interior, the modern age shows itself a little more – among other things through a large touch screen. The carbon bucket seats are covered with leather.
The Thunderball drives faster than the lightning
Anyone who is familiar with Wiesmann is also aware that it does not stop at an extravagant look. Because the previous models were also able to impress under the hood. Of course, there isn’t much to see under the hood of the Thunderball. The technical data still leaves an impression!

The two electric motors are mounted at the rear of the Thunderball, so the Wiesmann drives with rear-wheel drive.
The two electric motors are said to have an output of up to 500 kW (680 hp) and catapult the Wiesmann Thunderball from 0 to 100 in under three seconds. Here he drives sports car not with all wheel drive, but with rear-wheel drive. Because both Engines are located at the rear of the car. The two Engines should together achieve a maximum torque of 1100 Nm.
It can be ordered, but the price has not yet been revealed
The car manufacturer is also not revealing where the new Wiesmann is priced. The base price of the MF5 Roadster was just under 180,000 euros. The price of the Thunderball is estimated to start at around 300,000 euros.
