After the unveiling for China at the beginning of the year, manufacturer Vivo has now also announced its new smartphone flagship X80 Pro for Europe. Compared to the predecessor X70 Pro Plus, Vivo has improved the battery, the processor and the quick charge function, among other things.
3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on board
The Vivo X80 Plus offers a 6.78-inch OLED screen, QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 works in the housing. Other features include a battery with 4,700 mAh, fast charging with 80 watts and wireless charging up to 50 watts. Stereo speakers and NFC are also on board. With its new smartphone, Vivo also relies on a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in the display. This covers a much larger area than conventional sensors built into the display.
Quad camera with 5x optical zoom
The camera equipment of the X80 Pro includes a 32 MP selfie lens on the front and a quad camera on the back. This consists of a 50 MP main camera, a 48 MP ultra wide-angle lens, a 12 MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom and an 8 MP periscope lens with 5x zoom. Android 12 with Fun Touch OS 12.1 is used as the mobile operating system.
Planned release in Europe
The Vivo X80 Pro will be available in Europe soon. The smartphone will be offered with twelve gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory. A specific price for Germany has not yet been set.
