Publisher Merge Games and developer Prideful Sloth have Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles – Enhanced Edition announced an improved version of the game for PlayStation 5. The new Enhanced Edition should use the features of the DualSense, also offer a 4K resolution and 60 fps. There are also some new accessories for the character. In addition to a standard version for retail, there will also be a “Signature Edition” of Signature Edition Games. You can already pre-order them.
And because games are still selling extremely well for Nintendo Switch, Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is also getting a new “Signature Edition” for Nintendo Switch. You can also pre-order this version for 49.99 euros.
See this edition below:
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles was released in 2017 for PS4 and PCs and got a port for Nintendo Switch in 2018 and one for Xbox One in 2019. Even then, the game offered German language options. There was a commercial version for PS4 and Switch, but the Switch version in particular is rather out of stock (dealer lists at Idealo *).
The idyll in Yonder is deceptive
Yonder plays on a huge island called Gemea, which consists of eight individual landscape zones. These range from tropical beaches to snow-capped peaks, all areas have their own flora and fauna. On the island there is also a change of seasons and a change between day and night. The idyll is deceptive, however: the vicious Murkhas have the island firmly in their hands and plunge it and its inhabitants into perdition.
