The mobile version of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim has now been given an approximate publication period: In spring, iOS and Android owners in Japan will be able to enjoy the fantasy role-playing game with the addition “Online” on the go – free of charge, albeit with microtransactions, as announced by publisher Restar Games.
Ys VI Online: The Ark of Napishtim is the first version of the game for smartphones. Players can register in advance on the teaser website. Depending on the number of registrations before the release, there will be a variety of in-game bonuses for players:
- 50,000 Registrations – 50,000 Silver Coins
- 100,000 Registrations – Gaia Stones (x6)
- 200,000 Registrations – Chaos Stones (x3)
- 300,000 Registrations – Lydia Soul Card (x1)
- 500,000 Registrations – Star Dust (x1,500)
- 700,000 registrations – Cookie (x2)

What is Ys VI: the Ark of Napishtim?
The original version of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim appeared in Japan in 2003 for Windows, followed by ports for PlayStation 2 in 2005 (Japan, North America, Europe) and a version for PlayStation Portable in 2006, which were also in the regions mentioned appeared. A Steam port finally followed in 2015.
In Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, the well-known redhead Adol Christin ends up on the island of Canaan. This is said to have treasures ready, but the exploration is not a lucky star. Shipwrecked, Adol is finally rescued by two members of the local breed. But people don’t really seem welcome.
