The Lombardy region of Italy has engaged footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic to educate people on the importance of following the corona rules. The Swedish attacker of AC Milan recently even conquered the corona virus, but warns others that they may have less luck.
“The corona virus challenged me and I won. But you are not Zlatan, don’t challenge the virus ”, Zlatan Ibrahimovic starts the video he shared on his social media. “Use your common sense and respect the rules. Keep your distance and always wear a mouth mask. We will overcome it. ”
Zlatan then shows on a terrace with an impressive view how exactly to put on a mouth mask. The video is part of a campaign by the Italian region of Lombardy. They were one of the first and worst hit regions in Europe during the first wave in March. Even now, the number of infections and hospital admissions is rising again.
On September 24 it became known that Ibrahimovic himself was infected with the corona virus. A few days earlier, the Swede had scored two more goals in the Italian league against Bologna. Zlatan said the virus made a bad choice by challenging him.
Still, the Swede struggled for a long time with Covid-19 because it was only on October 9 that he took a negative test and was given the green light. Since then he has immediately returned to his best level with four goals in two league games.
