ZTE announces new flagship Axon 40 Ultra






The new high-end smartphone Axon 40 Ultra from manufacturer ZTE will be available in Germany from June 21, 2022.

ZTE announced the international launch of its new high-end smartphone, the Axon 40 Ultra, this week. The device will be available in Germany from June 21, 2022.

New Snapdragon and AMOLED screen

The Chinese manufacturer’s smartphone offers a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,480 x 1,116 pixels. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 works in the case.

Front camera under the display

The camera equipment includes a front lens with 16 megapixels installed under the display. The technology is now in its third generation at ZTE and is said to be less visible and offer better image quality than the previous models. ZTE installs a triple camera on the back. This consists of a main camera, a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and an ultra-wide-angle camera. All three cameras have a resolution of 64 megapixels.

Available in Germany from 830 euros

The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra also comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that can be quickly charged with 65 watts. Android 12 with the ZTE user interface is used as the mobile operating system. In Germany, the smartphone will be available in two storage variants. With eight gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory, the Axon 40 Ultra costs around 830 euros. If you need more memory, you can get the larger version with twelve gigabytes of RAM and 256 flash memory for around 950 euros. As part of an early bird offer in the Axon online shop, buyers can save around 50 euros.
